Creating heirloom quality bedframes has always been an Elliott's Designs hallmark, gracing the most elegant bedrooms; regrettably, they ceased production in the late 1980s. Genuine Elliott's Design bed frames are now very rare to obtain as originals trickle down through family generations.
I purchased our Elliott's Emily headboard 42 years ago in 1981 and loved it so much I bought one for my son and daughter a few years later. While I hate to part with it, I am selling the King size Emily open toe brass/ enamel bedframe for some lucky purchaser.
If you are not in the know, Elliott Brass Bedframes were the best made in the bed frame category and highly sought after for the discerning customer: gorgeous artisan craftmanship, meant to last many lifetimes, solid construction, impeccable authentic design based on actual antiques designs. Metal finishes were hand applied, and coated with durable powder paint used to prevent shipping & cracking.
The Elliott Open Toe King sized headboard is a gorgeous Victorian-inspired heirloom design and makes a beautiful statement in your bedroom. Meticulously crafted, this is an authentic antique reproduction made by Elliott Designs. It has heavy sturdy construction with all parts in a beautiful bronze copper with a smooth, high luster finish that complements any decor. I am the original owner. I paid over $3000 over 40 years ago and truly I am sorry to part with it. It's 59" high and 82" wide.
I will need to coordinate shipping based on the location; if at all possible, I will drive it to you (if possible) as I want it to find a new great home or can coordinate local pick-up (Manalapan, NJ).
This is a beautiful piece. You cannot buy it today. Elliott frames were the best bed frames made and this is in mint condition.
