Its easy to assemble, came with its own tool and a few extra bolts! I would recommend getting a box spring for under your mattress to place on top of this product. Stood on the bed and started hearing to wood supports cracking immediately jumped off so i wouldn't damage it, but I love this solid lil product! We run it with just the mattress and its low for my aged pitbull to get up on it. About us
