Legget and Platt Brand base with Chattam and Wells Twin XL mattress

Legget and Platt upholstered and adjustable brand base with Chattam and Wells Twin XL mattress. Also comes with a mattress protector. We purchased the bed from metro mattress in Geneva, NY with the intention of my wife using it after having a hysterectomy.  After we had purchased it the Dr told us he didn't want her using it because she needed to use her abdominal muscles after the surgery. We went back to Metro Mattress and they wouldn't work with us so we are trying to get some of our money back, we spent $5500+ at metro mattress.  The mattress has never been used has just been sitting in the spare bedroom. Am willing to sell the base and mattress separately. Base would be - $1500. Mattress would be $3000. This is a top of the line bed that you will never get for less!
