The original etching/engraving is part of the Drawing and Print Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is a design for a canopy bed with Chinese figures, as seen from the side of the bed. It has a baldacin-shaped canopy with a plume of feathers. Publisher is Daumont (Paris) printed around 1929. The original etching dates back to 1771 or shortly thereafter.
