Harlequin Bed contemporary or traditional strong sturdy

This elegant bed has a unique Harlequin or checker board pattern.  It has a solid build with the color of the wood changing depending on the light,  the more light the greater the contrast.
I have never seen another one like it.  There are no markings but I will vouch for the quality.  It is comparable to Ethan Allen, Ralph Lauren, Henredon and other fine furniture makers.
Craftsmanship is excellent.
It is in very good vintage condition, there is an area left side of headboard where there is a lighter area only noticeable when the light is at the right angle and also a wood knot ( bed is wood) shown in photo 9.    We have factored that in to the price, please see photos.
