Dimensions: 48L X 21.5W X 34H; Top only 49L X 22.5W This horizontal hive accepts 31 deep frames and features bee-friendly thick walls for durability and superior insulation.  The body is cut from 2” x 12” southern pine lumber. The tops are made of a lighter plywood so that you can check on your progress with ease.  High legs mean convenient hive visits and no mice and possums to worry about. We also provide convenient inner top covers so that you can work in sections. These hives are made thicker & more sturdy than most that you will find at other retailers!
