Features: These footboard brackets attach to your existing headboard-only style bed frame allowing you to attach a bolt-on footboard. Specific installation steps:
Step 1:Gather necessary tools, and ensure all parts are present. Determine whether your frame has the necessary holes at the ends for attachment of the extensions. Your frame should have at least two holes at the ends.(See Fig. 1)
Step 2:Before removing your box spring, determine how much length extension you'li need from the end of your frame to allow a footboard to be attached. The extension rails have many holes so you can attach them at the correct length
Step 3:Using the Short Hex Bolts and Locking Hex Nuts, attach the kingcheruniversal Extension Rails to your bed frame. The rails should overlap on the inside of your frame. Slide them in to adjust for the correct amount of extension. (See Fig. 2)
Step 4:Using the remaining Short Hex Fitment Universal Footboard Attachment Kit fit for Twin, Full, Queen, or King Size Beds.
