1920s multicolor floral on cobalt blue beaded purse with the most fabulous carved celluloid frame with an art deco Egyptian revival winged motif.
Inside this beautiful frame is embossed "MADE IN FRANCE" and purse has original cloth MADE IN FRANCE label on silk lining.
The frame has a nice snap closure, and purse has original cobalt beaded handle.
Interestingly, there is one off-color bead on each side, a bright white bead in the cobalt background on front side, and a clear bead down by bottom edge on the reverse.
Purse is 5" wide at the frame and 6-1/2" at center of beading. It is 8" high from top of knob to bottom.
Very good condition. There is a large tear on one side of the blue silk lining. All beading very good and intact and the celluloid frame is excellent.
